BE READY TO LEARN
Welcome to Sacred Heart
Catholic Primary School
At Sacred Heart, we are dedicated to nurturing each child’s unique potential within a compassionate and inclusive community. Guided by our core values to Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Ready to Learn, we strive to inspire a sense of purpose and belonging in every pupil. Our rich and engaging curriculum provides diverse learning experiences, from professional tuition in the arts and sports to educational excursions that inspire a lifelong love of learning.
We prioritise creating a safe and supportive environment that fosters self-esteem and confidence, enabling our pupils to thrive spiritually, morally, and academically. Our committed staff work diligently to ensure every child achieves their full potential, grounded in our shared mission to serve others and promote justice.

At Sacred Heart, we maintain high expectations for our pupils, encouraging excellence in attendance, respect, and effort. We believe in strong partnerships with families and the wider community, working collaboratively to build a solid foundation for each child’s education.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s educational journey. We look forward to working together to support their growth and success.
Our Mission
At Sacred Heart School we are called to change the world by:
- Acting justly and with love; to speak for the voiceless and defend the defenceless.
- Being joyful and courageous witness of the Gospel, carrying to the world a ray of God’s light.
- Becoming caretakers of our world through knowing that Creation is not a good to be exploited but a gift to be looked after.
Our Vision
At Sacred Heart Catholic School we aim to provide a welcoming and caring environment in which every child is able to be happy, confident and supported in achieving excellence. We believe that all teaching in our school must reflect our Catholic faith, enabling children to develop and deepen their relationship with God. It should not only be taught but lived, this being reflected in the way that all staff treat the children and in the way the children behave towards one another. We will nurture this through a rich prayer life within our community.
‘Love one another as I have loved you’
