Uniform at Sacred Heart
Children wear our uniform all year round and it is a requirement. On this page, you can find out more about Sacred Heart’s school uniform.
Key Stage 1 & 2
- Navy V-neck jumper or cardigan
- Blue shirt
- Navy blue and red striped tie
- Grey trousers, skirt or pinafore
- Black shoes
- In summer the children can wear grey shorts or a navy checked summer dress
Foundation 1 & 2
- Navy V-neck jumper or cardigan
- Blue polo shirt
- Grey skirt, trousers or pinafore
- Black shoes
- In Summer the children can wear grey shorts or a navy checked summer dress
PE Kit
- Red T-shirt
- Navy blue shorts
- Black pumps or trainers
- There is also an optional Hoodie which is navy blue with red zip detail
No jewellery of any sort on PE days for health and safety reasons
Swimming
- Swimming trunks
- One piece costume

Other Information
We want our uniform to be as affordable as possible for all of our parents and do not require branded items or specific retailers to be used. We also have an active preloved Uniform shop at our Community Hub for second hand uniform.
Our uniform is available from retailers in Barrow-in-Furness for badged and non-badged can be bought from most supermarkets/retail stores.
Foundation 1 and 2 can wear a shirt and tie if you prefer.
